DIGEST YOURSELF

Underneath this painting is another painting i just couldn't digest. I needed the truth of my heart gone (which never happens) but my concusion had me not thinking straight at all. I kept wanting to draw mouths? I kept wanting to draw something that was effortless, cool, shining bright and proud of it. A mouth full of precious gems. That is what I am. I wanted the teeth to chew down my heartbreak, chew down the idea that sometimes soul mates won't choose eachother- and so she was created. From the fear of my heart something really cool and powerful was born. I saw this picture on pinterest with a quote (was big in my vision board, pinterest creativity sessions) and it hit me, to paint this chopping down the reality of my new found self, exploring expression and being really freaking cool and effortless even though it seems complex to be able to create such realism- also it had to be a star because I am a STAR GIRL. I SHINE FROM WITHIN.
